Adaptation issues received more attention in the formation of the Paris Agreement. The Paris Agreement was opened for signature on 22 April 2016 (Earth Day) at a ceremony in New York.  After several European Union states ratified the agreement in October 2016, enough countries that had ratified the agreement were producing enough greenhouse gases worldwide for the agreement to enter into force.  The agreement entered into force on November 4, 2016.  President Trump is withdrawing us from the Paris Climate Agreement. While the expanded transparency framework is universal, as is the global stocktaking that will take place every 5 years, the framework aims to provide „integrated flexibility“ to distinguish the capacities of developed and developing countries. In this context, the Paris Agreement contains provisions to improve the capacity-building framework. .
